A Christmas Carol Success

Last weekend, our production of the musical version of A Christmas Carol went off wonderfully. The kids and the staff all did a fantastic job and entertained hundreds of theatergoers each day. Our fantastic and talented group of actors truly made us proud!

On a sad note, our musical advisor, Henry DeBruyne, fell on his way out of our final dress rehearsal and broke his hip. After surgery last Saturday, he seems to be doing well and is on his way to recovering soon. We scrambled to find a pianist to substitute for him at our performances and thankfully wound up with two wonderful gems.

Many thanks to those brave proxies for Henry, as well as to all of the friends and family who did so much to support us throughout the entire season. Look here in January for news about signing up for our spring production. We hope to see you back in 2009!

KFAD Presents “A Christmas Carol”

CC Flier.jpgCome see the KFAD kids perform our latest play! This fall’s selection is A Christmas Carol, a musical based on Charles Dickens’s classic story of holiday redemption. Opening night is November 21, 2008, starting at 7 PM. The second show plays on November 22, also at 7 PM, and we also have a Sunday matinee on November 23 at 2 PM.

The show is being held at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 501 Prospect Street in Beloit, Wisconsin. Tickets are only $5 for adults or $3 for students and seniors, and you can purchase them at the door.

Please come out to enjoy a night of musical theater and show the kids your support!
