The spring KFAD show has now been set as Alice in Wonderland, Jr. Mark the dates on your calendar so you can come down to the Head Start Theatre at 1221 Henry Avenue here in Beloit, Wisconsin, and enjoy the show!
- April 28 and 29 at 7 PM, and April 30 at 2 PM.

Kids Fun and Drama are performing Elf, Jr. soon, so set aside the dates! Performances are scheduled for November 18 and 19 at 7 pm and November 20 at 2 pm. Join us at the Head Start Theatre: 1221 Henry Ave, Beloit, WI 53511

Registration for the fall session of KFAD is Monday, August 29th from 4 – 6 p.m. at the KFAD Studio, 3 Eclipse Center. Students will be given scripts and music and rehearsal will begin that night. Parents do not need to stay.
The show is: Elf Jr. The Musical
Rehearsals are Mondays and Thursdays from 4 – 6 p.m.
Show dates are November 18, 19 and 20.
Registration fee is $110.00 and includes all instruction and costumes. There is a sibling discount and payment plans and scholarship opportunities are available by talking to Marge or calling 608-774-4140.

Be sure to save the date for our upcoming spring show, Willy Wonka Junior, based on the classic novel by Roald Dahl. The show plays April 15 and 16 at 7 PM and April 17 at 2 PM at the Head Start Theater (1221 Henry Avenue in Beloit, Wisconsin). The kids are already practicing hard for the show and cannot wait to share it with you. Click on the poster for more information.
Also, don’t forget to join us for our Vendor & Craft Fair! We hold this at the Head Start Theater as well, on March 19, from 10 AM to 3 PM. It features something like twenty vendors selling all sorts of wonderful things, plus there’s a bake sale and a lunch meal deal to boot. Click on the poster to the right for more information about that too.
For KFAD’s 27th season, we will be performing Willy Wonka Junior. See below for all the details.
We hope to see you for registration on January 11! We also have a number of other upcoming events:
- Join us at the Beloit Culver’s tomorrow, December 22, for Scoopie Night. Part of the proceeds from 4–8 PM go to benefit KFAD, and we will have KFAD performers there throughout the evening.
- On March 5, the Banding Together event held at the Eclipse Center from 1 PM to Midnight will also partially benefit KFAD. Save the date!
- On March 19, join us for the Dazzling Drama Vendor Fair, from 11 AM – 3 PM at the Head Start Theater. The benefits, once again, go to KFAD.
Now, though, we’re thinking about Christmas and then the New Year. KFAD invites our performers — past, present, and future — to join us for Christmas Caroling to area nursing homes on December 8, 2015.
We will have two practices — be held at the studio, 3 Eclipse Center — to get ready. The schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, December 3 from 4 – 5 p.m.
- Monday, December 7 from 4 – 5 p.m.
Caroling Day: December 8
Meet at the studio at 4 p.m. Change into KFAD sweatshirts and Santa Hats. We will need a few parents to help carpool. Once we know how many kids we have, we can figure out drivers.
When we are done caroling we will go back to the studio for a holiday party! Marge will make barbeque sandwiches and there will be a sign up sheet Thursday for other items like chips, pickles, cookies, cocoa, etc. We hope you can join us!
Join us Sunday, September 20, 2015, 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at La Casa Grande Ballroom, 618 4th Street, Beloit, WI, for our Roaring Twenties night! We’ll have special performances by:
- KFAD Singers & Dancers
- David Newman, Concert Pianist

- Cindy Bacon Hammer and Michael Hammer, Vocalists

- 4:30 pm: Performances Begin
